Winter season training and competition

Our training sessions are held at Stromlo Leisure Centre.

• We only train and play during school term. We will always break for holidays.

• All training will start the week of 5 May 2025 except for Junior Dolphins which will start on Thursday 1 May. The last training for Winter for Woden Waves will be the week of the 25 August with Junior Dolphins continuing until the school holidays.

• Players are expected to be at club training where possible. If players are unable to make a session they should alert their coach before training.

Ever wanted to coach but not sure where to start?

Canberra Water Polo Academy will be running weekly coaches training sessions through Waves Junior Dolphins program on Thursday nights from 6.45pm to 7.45pm starting this week on 1st May at Stromlo.

Each week will cover a different aspect of coaching. In addition there is also 2 online learnings to assist in developing the skills required to coach water polo.

This is a great opportunity for all Woden Waves members to learn and develop their skills in preparation for having an established coaching group for 2025/2026 Summer Season and future seasons moving forward.
